Any Suggestions for a Small 35W HID Ballast

I'm planning a 35W HID conversion of something - not sure exactly what, but bigger than a Mag for sure. Something along the lines of an old 6V lantern. There's so many HID ballasts on the 'bay - what's the smallest commonly available and still under say, $40?
