Any threads on LED technology?

Any threads on LED technology (ie the latest greatest Luxeons) around here, or is it just all about commercial LED flashlights?

I asked earlier for a split in this group, but it seems most people like it as it is. In which case can somebody please give me a pointer to any active current threads like this I might be interested in - I have no interest at all in commercial lights, and a quick scan suggests all recent posts are about these?
