Anyon tried these LSD batteries?

Just seen that 7 day shop have their own branded LSD batteries and the price is much cheaper.

Anyone used these or is it better to just dig deep into the pockts and get the Sanyos for peace of mind.

I'm inteneding to buy around 18 AA and 12 AAA LSD betteries so its going to hit my pocket hard - and i don't want to make a costly mistake Also after investing in the MAha 9000 i've found my Batteries to be of very rubbish performance hence the bulk buy to replace the crappy batteries.

Any help would be appreciated :twothumbs

Hi ps2user, I have no experience with those particular batteries and am not sure what they are "behind the wrapper," though they do not appear to be rebadged Eneloops like the Duracell LSDs. I have bought 7dayshop branded batteries before the (2500mah version) and was not that impressed by them mainly by the fact that they varied a great deal from battery to battery.

If I was in your shoes I would go for the Eneloops which are at a very good price at 7dayshop - a close friend of mine just bought 8 for his TK40 this week. I have bought LSDs that were not that great before.

Alternatively if you are in the UK check out the Duracell LSD "Duraloops" that are in Sainsburys now at a great price, these cells are rebadged eneloops and so are of high quality.

These did not last long poor quality. I assume the aaa version would be the same.

The batteries pictured appear to have a small, round, shiny button and a ridge around the top at the positive end. I have tested some batteries that look like that sold under the Hybrio brand and did not find them to be as good as eneloops. On the basis that similar physical appearance indicates the same factory of origin I would suggest going for eneloops instead.

Yes, the white tops are supposed to be a little better than the black tops. Also, make sure that you see "Made in Japan" on them.

Also, I've read here that the "Made in China" AA black tops are pretty good too. But the AAA black tops aren't.

There's additional criteria you can look for to ensure that you're getting the preferred cell ps2user.

As well, having regard to e_dogg's caution respecting the AAA sized cell, you can basically utilize the same criteria for choosing it as well. Just adjust the capacity, if stated, downward to about 800mAh.
