Anyone dismantled a Jetbeam Raptor-1 yet??

I would love to disable the strobe and if its possible boost its output, so far I'm not game to pull the Raptor apart, I dont know where to start, I'm curious to know if anyone has attempted this yet

I'm quite adept at modding Tiablo A8/9's & Dereelight DBS's but the Raptor looks quite a challenge:thinking:

well, looks like other Raptor 1 owners aren't game to pull thiers apart yet either??
Anyway I've made a start and whilst it was apart I decided to make my first modification - see if you can find it

Yep, well done.
Since Jetbeam don't supply GITD switch boots I thought I would try a spare Tiablo one, just needed to cut the raised centre bit off and it fitted nicely.
Now to improve upon the front-end of the light, mmm.... that wont be easy!!

I just received my Raptor and im interested in this.

When changing the focus of the light, it doesn't sound very smooth and i wan't to lube it... but i don't want to break the thing trying to remove it

Anyone know how?
