Wondering if anybody has one yet and could compare to a L1 or E1B. I am thinking of replacing my E2E and want to know how the beam and throw compare to the L1 or E1B. I love the thought of the extended run time, if the optic is anywhere near as good as the L1, or the E1B. Thanks.

I have a new dual-output KX2, the beam pattern is similar to 45 lumens version KX2 and the E1B, the hot spot is smaller than the L1 Cree. New KX2, E1B and L1Cree have similar overall output, here are some beamshots:

I have E1B and KX2 reviews posted in the review section:)

that newer e2l looks quite a bit brighter for only 15 lumen difference spec wise.

as it stands now the 2007 e2l i have is just about right for any kind of close-up work like inside my pc or what not, would you think the new kx2 head would be too bright for such applications?

the real advantage i see is for outdoor lighting witht he lumen increase. any other opinions?
