anyone know when T1 R2 coming out?

Just wondering, does anyone know when the fenix T1 R2 is coming out? have to start saving those pennies again I hope it comes in black and clipless. thanks!

The R2 is only a few percent more efficient/bright than the Q5. We're talking only a dozen or two more lumens more over the current model. Without scientific equipment, you'd never see any difference between the Q5 and R2. Wait a year or so, once the R4 or -5 is out, then it'll get interesting.

They are allready out! But only in Japan. I saw it on the prolight japan web site a few weeks ago.

a T1 owner here... does the r2 bin mean that we get more consistent results between different emitters? that alone imho is worth it, if you believe that you got one of the weaker led's in your torch...
