Anyone still use their Sam's Club HID?

Ironically, I still have mine from back in the day when it was hella popular on CPF.
Only issue is, no place to use it.

Use it on men's retreat with church in Ocotillo Wells, CA. Only place big and dark enough to use it. Still have two working ones after a recent battery swap out. They are useful when going on night rides to see if a path down is too sketchy or not or checking out views in the mud hills. Anywhere else, my Nitecore E4K and Nitecore TM06s do well enough, but they don't have near the throw.

I'll play the battery died a while ago and I have not replaced it yet.

Couldn't get those Sam's Club HIDs here but the 2 x large spotlight HID hosts quite the rage at the time that I do have (see linked thread) have been gathering dust for at least 10 years, all they require is some new SLAs, output was wonderful but the 30-45 minute runtime relegated them to moreover a novelty and proof of concept build.

I till have mine, the second replacement battery is on a maintainer and it still works ok

We have never used it for a serious purpose, but for parties and on Independence Day we use it like the old advertising spotlights, just putting a spear of light up into the sky. As good a use as any.
