Anyone want to make an espresso tamper?

Curious if anyone is interested in making an espresso tamper? If you need to know what I'm talking about, just do a Google search. Basically just a metal tool with a 58mm base for compressing espresso beans in the portafilter. Anyway, just curious if this is a project someone would like to try, as well as a price. Thanks! Geez, there are lots of nice looking tampers out there that aren't that expensive.

I have a reg Barber myself. I nice wood handled, SS base tamper.

You can get pretty nice alloy or steel tampers for not that much money. If you have a lots to spend there are many options.

Not sure if there's much point in a custom tamper unless you want some crazy graphic or design?
