Anything similar to TK-40 but with a charging cradle?

The Fenix TK-40 looks like an ideal light for my application but having to repeatedly remove and charge 8 AA batteries in two shifts would be a drag. I have been searching, without success, for a similar light that as a charging cradle to keep things simple. Any suggestions for me?

Amazon had the TK40 for $128 this morning, now it is back to $150. Is there any competition with a charger base? If not, please let me know...

Something with the same power and rechargable battery pack? I can't think of one. How about somthing like a Olight M30, and a couple of 18650 or 18500 batteries and a chager. It, pretty easy charging just the two batteries. You can probably get the whole setup for around $140 or less if you find a used one. I love my M30. I've bought and sold 7 or 8 lights since I've had my M30. I think I'll keep it for a while.
There is also the option of a MagCharger with a new higher output bulb. Not regulated though.

I have the TK40 and I use the same charger for all my lights.

Go to Radio Shack and get an 8 AA battery holder (series holder). They are about $3.

Then get a smart charger like one of these;

I got this one;

When your TK40 infrequently gets low, simply put all 8 batteries in your cheap $3 radio shack holder, and hook up the leads from your smart charger to the connectors on the pack.

Wait for red to become green, and voila' your done.

And it's worth it to get the smart charger because you can use it for alot of other things that need to be charged as long as you get the right voltage range.

EDIT: I wouldn't try to use the smart charger directly on the TK 40 holder since it is actually a 4S2P holder, they are not all in series with each other but rather two sets of 4 AA's. In my case I couldn't do it if I tried since the smart charger I purchased won't charge a pack rated under 9.6 volts anyway. If your sure that you know what your doing you could charge them this way but you would have to make sure you connected it correctly to charge both sides evenly, and I think it's alot better to just charge them as one.

The batt.s on the TK40 last a LONG time. I don't even lock out the head and I'm charging once every two weeks just because it's time, not that it is dim yet. Setting up a charge takes me less than 3 minutes (to take the batts out switch em into the holder and connect). Another 2 minutes to put the batt.s back into the TK40, 5 minutes every two weeks isn't too bad is it?
