I have been browsing for awhile on the forum, but I've become more confused than ever.
My ultrafire RL-2088 runs on x3 18650 batteries. I understand I need to purchase protected cells, but beyond that, there are 2200, 2600, and 2900 (and other) mAh options, flat head, pointed head? What is appropriate? Also, I also know that depending the whether the flashlight is using a regulated circuit, direct, or whether a high load/low load, that all of this can affect the appropriate battery choice. The general consensus is that AW is the best brand (or trustfires), and that the Pila charger would be a good buy, but what about the actual battery choice? Is the 2900 just going to offer a longer runtime and therefore be the best choice?
