I was thinking, since the Arc 4 uses a reflector instead of an optic, would it be somehow "better" to use a side emitter to take full advantage of the reflector? That way most if not all of the light produced would be channeled into the reflector taking advantage of having one. Am I missing something? Possibly losing throw with this setup? I have seen a few manufacturers using the side emitter/ reflector combination and it got me thinking. Thanks for your ideas on the question!
