Arc 5.5 Lumens

Getting ready to pull the trigger on one! I just want to know if the 5.5 lumens is enough for EDC & a useful light to have? I have the Arc-P & it is almost too bright at 10.5 lumens. Any help is appreciated.:mecry:

The Arc-LLC AAA-S (about 3 lumens) was my main edc for years. Yes it is fine for the uses it was intended for, i.e. indoor and close range lighting. If you are finding your AAA-GS to be too bright, you might actually want a floodier beam rather than fewer lumens. Try putting a piece of frosted scotch tape over the bezel to diffuse the beam and see if you like the results. By the way maybe your other thread on this question could be merged here. Given how busy this board is, it's better to have just one thread per topic.

If you can afford the leap to the titanium version, the DS LED is the best of the bunch. It's almost as bright as the GS, but without the nasty blue spot.
