Arc AAA....No Markings?

Finally got some Arc non-LS lights that I wanted. Just got a black AAA from B/S/T and it has no "lettering". I'm perfectly fine with it but was just wondering if these were old models, mistakes/seconds, rare ( /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif), etc.? I never saw one that didn't have lettering at all but then again I haven't been paying much attention to AAs & AAAs up until recently. I think I remember hearing about them but don't remember. Can anyone can tell me more?

I got in some from ARC a while back with the older Black body.

The sold out instantly... so these make for good collector items...

i wound up with 5 with no markings.
common to all 5 is that they come on just slightly before the threads bottom out.
like the body tube is a wee bit long.
but they are reliable and 4 got custom engraved and gifted.
i kept one unmodified.
anyone know how many got out unmarked?

My black Arc AAA with red LED has no markings...I just tell people it was made "sterile" for special forces use. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
