I don't know if SureFire will sell the body seperately but that would be a good first step. I orphaned an E1 head to make mine which is rather low on the brilliant scale.
I have since morphed it onto an Arc 123 battery holder via an adapter so not all is lost.
There is a raised shoulder on the SF body that needs to be turned down or ground off so that it can pass into the bore of the LS head. I would be happy to do this for you for say $4.00. You will also need some type of conductive spacer about 1/2" long between the rear of the battery and the tail cap of the SF body.
The mod is really straight forward and the result is very satisfactory, The removed shoulder portion resides within the LS head at all times so the appearence is very nice.
