Just received my RGB.

Question : Mine came with a Duracell ULTRA battery. Does anyone have any reasoning behind this or do you think that is what Peter had laying around?

I wonder if the RGB has a higher current drain?

Well, this IS a premium, limited supply product, so it only makes sense to send it with a premium battery.

I tried to meter the current in mine, but because of the way the flashlight was made, was not able to. If I chopped the barrel up a bit (to remove some of the HA-III finish and expose bare aluminum), I might be able to. But I kind of hesitate doing that to such a loveable, one-of-a-kind, little baby flashlight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

Hmmm. An "N" size RGB would be just the right size for a dog collar. Maybe have have led a little less recessed for side spill and then use a AA ARC style ring assembly.

Just a thought.
