Are all LRI Freedom with Nichia LEDs?

Greetings all,
Do all the Freedom Microlights come with the newer Nichia LEDs nowadays?
Back in December Bryan wrote that they were being introduced in stages.
Are the newer ones noticeably brighter?

As far as I know, all but the X-light use Nichia DS LEDs now.

Yes, all newly made units have the DS vs. the CS and they are noticably brighter with the same runtime. Look for the box that has "2X Brighter" or something like that to ensure you're getting the latest.

Actually the CS bulb upgrades were the first packaging to say 2X brighter so there is no way to know CS from DS from packaging. Not to mention, I heard from a reliable source that the PII's and Freedoms are using GS bulbs now. I'm waiting on an email response from photonlight to confirm. They seem to be upgrading these things every other month!

How different is the GS from the DS and where can I read about the terms Cs Ds Gs?
