Are the MM and MM LED heads interchangable?

Anyone have any info on this? Also are the guts the same in each one? Thanks for the help.

The heads are different sized, but I'm not sure about the threads.

As for the internal components, the Minimag and MinimagLED aren't compatible. The Minimag has what is essentially two pieces of plastic with metal contacts. The MinimagLED has a circuit and an LED that is not supposed to be removed.

I knew it was longer but just curious on the threads. My thought was that since it is longer and if it fits the regular MM it would give me a better throw and then combine it with a terralux and also an aspheric lens.

I'm curious to see what the real difference in throw might be between an 18 and a 20mm reflector. :shrug:

Anyone got a beam shot to show what this looks like and what the difference is between using a reflector with an aspheric lens, using one without it, and just using the aspheric lens by itself with no reflector? Thanks for the input guys.
