Ok, I admit it, I am a converted led guy. I like bright spot type beams. I loved my SL Ultrastinger, and my TL3. My old SF Gpz with the p61 bulb was my constant edc light. I had a SF M3 and fed the 20 minute bulb new batteries every few days. They all had decent spot beams, but I hated their dim spillbeams, that is one of the reasons I have switched to led lights. My question is, are there any 123 based incans out there that have decent throw, but can also light up stuff beside you? I kind of miss haveing a good incan, so I thought I would ask for help.
Example of what I am talking about:
35' 3/5 second, f/2.8 for both pics
Mag 4D, less than half an hour on batteries:
Fenix T1 (Q5 2x123a led light)
I woud have used an incan 123a light for the comparison, but no longer have any. The Mag 4d should be about as bright as a SF with the P60 bulb...maybe better in throw. Thanks again for your help!
