Are there any LED HID combo's out there?

I am looking for a smaller (say 3X18650 size) HID light for throw (even better if it had an adjustable flood to throw lens) but that also had something "effiecient" and smaller like a XP G R5 that ran off the same battery pack that went from moonlight to 200 lumens or so. Something where if I "needed" it, I could get 15 hours of 50 lumen light and also (if I needed it) 1500 lumens with some great throw!

Like a super A2? Sounds neat, if you could keep the HID heat from killing the LED's.
I'm sure it could be done.
