aspheric 6p?

I'm getting my surefire 6p clone with an r2 cree and was wondering..
has anyone done an aspheric 6p or clone?
I'd be great to do something like this with an r2 cree.

I don't remember seeing it done but it should be possible. The main thing you need to know is the distance from the LED to the lens and the diameter of the lens.

Yes. One of the reasons Mags make the best aspheric hosts is because you can remove the reflector and have a bare emitter which works best with the PCX lens.

The light reflected from the reflector would appears as an ugly spill beam with lots of bumps. It's recommended to remove the reflector.

just got it today, I checked but the module seems to be the reflector itself so it cant be removed without removing everything

I think i might give up and try to make my super thrower aspheric? that might be a better idea..

Just try and think of a way to make the reflector either white or black.
