AFAIK Aunoc lights have been affiliated to utilizing single 5mm led as emitters only, where did you find a Aunoc K2?

Other than the cost, its seems like a nice little utility light. It should have some pretty good run time and hopefully a nice beam pattern. That is what I'd like to find out. Its too expensive just to buy it and give it a try.

Even though the K2 is a 5 watt part, they could be driving the LED lower (1 watt). Driving the LED at a lower power increases efficacy (lumens/watt, saves battery power) and doesnt need as much heatsink and complex driver electronics. OR maybe its a typo on the website.

I heard from Aunoc again. It used to be a 1 watt then a 3 watt and now it is a K2. It has a spot beam as well. 2 hours to 50% with a K2 on one cell seems pretty good. Would anyone else buy one? Any experience with Aunoc?

Thanks,

Nick
