We have been getting slammed by a nor-easter' storm for 24 hours or so.Im here at my shop.Came into work with 2500 Gal or so of water on the floor.The sump-pumps are working non stop.In my life I have never seen water flood this fast or bad.I can say 100% for sure that evey light I own is water proof.
Lost power for 5-6 hours.Seems 2 kiddies in Mutangs decided to race in the rain...yep you guesses it...one jack*ss hit a pole..sigh.
All of the other shops near came to visit me...and ask to borrow" one of those bad*ss lights I have"
My 6A/cree lasted 5+ hours with my 2 168a's. I just left it on.Went through 8 123s on other various lights.
T5 with hat clip was also perfect.
Go go run time and high quality lights!!!!!

With 60-90MPH winds , visibility is horrible.The JP&L guy on the pole seemed to not have enough lumens.I went out with my PL 24 and stood out there for 2 hours till he was done.The 2 techs called it a "F'N white laser" and thanked me 900 times and ofcorse had 50 questions.They said the HID was brighter then the 3 halogens on the rig and cherry-picker combined.
In closing : Yep we are wierdos, yep collecting lights is wierd, yep we need help...BUT it is nice to know that this hobby can actually be usefull and helpfull in time of need.
For the girls out here : lets see those rings,crystals,plates, dolls or other silly items yall collect SAVE THE DAY !!! :naughty:
