to anybody that may know this, i have a flashlight that is designed to run on 1 AA but can take a 14500 li-ion as well, considering that the 14500 is ~3.6v, is it possible to use a TL-2100 or TL-5104 type lithium battery? the battery is commonly used for memory back up power on a computer, my worry is that the battery is rated at 2.1 amps.

another referance to the battery is a radioshack sku # 230-0037

thanks in advance

thanks for the first reply, no they are not rechargeable, they are commonly known as CMOS batteries. i will be using this in a JetBeam Mk IIx, i read that the JetBeam CL-E suffers a possibility of never being able to use alkaline or ni-mh aa once a 3.6v battery is used, any idea is this holds true to the Mk IIx as well?
