So what level output are the lights set at?

Is it the same picture just different GAMMA or post picture exposure?

i`ve just ordered the dereelight 3SD Q5 drop in,
.....i was hoping for a tighter hotspot

Bear in mind that the beam of the 3SD Q5 proper was diffused with a SureFire FM34 .

Would you consider the FM34 to be a viable tool for spot photographic illumination, assuming good source colour temperature? For that matter, even the H30? Sometimes I'd like to gain a few stops over ambient when the flashes and reflectors I have available aren't practical.
