Nice beamshots. Did you install it on the stock G2L tailcap? This has been something I have wanted to do, but I only have one G2 tailcap, and most of the time my G2 houses an incan HO-9 lamp instead of an LED.

BTW is this two stage switch compatible with the P60L?

Installed in multiple Z41 tailcaps. The Mc2CS switches are compatible with the P60L.

adamlau, I thought that the LOTC tailcaps on a G2 or G2L were pretty much incompatible with these Mc2CS switches (or at least much harder to mod than the older non-LOTC versions). Am I wrong about that?

I have heard the same and will attempt to disassemble a new G2L before reporting back with results. The original G2 cap assemblies could be removed as a single unit. The current assemblies appear to be the ones used in the Z41. The only issue with extended heating times would be the likely deformation of the Nitrolon.

adamlau,

Thank you very much for the beam shots! I've been looking for some info on which resistor value to choose for the McC2S for my Malkoff Q2 w/6P run off an AW P17670 cell. The 15ohm value looks about perfect for me. What would you rate the brightness with the 15ohm like? Is it comparable to say... an Arc DS or a Fenix L0D-CE on medium? It's kind of hard to gauge the low level brightness from your 1 light beamshot.

A 15 ohm with a Z34 beamfilter is brighter than a Photon Micro-Light II DS.
A 30 ohm with a Z34 beamfilter is not as bright as Photon Micro-Light II DS.

I use the 15 ohm on a G2L which sees outdoor action and the 30 ohm on a G2L for the general household.
