Best AA Bright LED?

I'm looking for a quality LED flash light that runs on AA batteries. A model that requires 2 or 3 batterires is fine. I am also looking for a light that has excellent beam quality and brightness. I would like something that is well made and durable, and can stand up to camping, etc.

What are the top AA LED lights with the highest output?

You should take a look at the Fenix L series, particularly the Cree and Rebel versions. I just got my L1T Rebel 2.0 today, and I am very pleased with it.

Fenix Q5 based or Rebel 100 based lights from Fenix-Store.com / Lighthound.com is the best bet. They are having high efficiency circuit and are regulated. Textured reflector adds a fine touch.

If you mean high output and good throw, take a look to custom-builds.
The small stock-heads of the Fenix and comparable models offers far less throw than an Aleph3 build i.e.:

Of course it needs time and a bit more money to get one, but it's worth

For a realtively good price, the Fenix L2D-Rebel 100 is probably your best bet for a good and bright AA powered light besides custom builds. Or the L2T V2.0 if you don't want too many modes.
