I recently purchase this module from Flashcrazy on the market place. It is a dereelight module. Below are the specs:

1SM-2 WH tint (1-stage multi power) Cree XR-E R2 module (16V max)
      • Input Range: 3~16V 1.2A draw
      • Output Range: 1.2A
My light is a Surefire 9P. I am trying to decide on the best battery configuration to optimize runtime with rechargeables for my set up. I have a Pila charger and will plan to purchase what ever AW cells necessary. I currently have 18650 cells and that option is out, and I dont want to bore my light.

I could use two AW17500 1100 mah, or or three AW16340 750 mah cells.

What kind of regulated runtime could I expect from each of these options?

I would think 2x17500 would be best.

I have an Ultrafire 502C that is 3x123 or 2x17500 and 2x17500 is a more elegant solution.

Just tried my 3SD Q2 5A in that light with 2x17500 and it sure seems brighter than 2x123!

I actually would prefer the 2 x 17500 set up, but I really would like to know the runtime I would get.
