best lamp for SL syclone?

i want a 4 ni-mh aa side-by-side flashlight with the best trow...

i think to mod a syclone but don't know if use a WA 01144 (3,7v) or a WA 01053 (4v). the 01144 is too near to blow? the 01053 can be a little underdrived?

do you know some alternative to the syclone?

I have used potted Carley 1122 (3.5 V, 2.3 A) with 4AA NiMH in Responder, very bright and white beam but extremely hot for plastic lens and reflector.
I used same bulb in shortened 1D M*g and soldered 4AA NiMH, flashed instantly.
So, resistance of all connectors including switch are very important.
