Re: Best wide flood , moderate throw, in 1 or 2 ce

I keep a F04 Beamshaper on my HDS U60 XR at all times (I prefer flood for night walking), but still prefer the pure flood of the SF L2.

John N : Thanks for the links and pics...very helpful
nightshade: I decided to keep my ARC LS original but thanks for the reasoning.

Kiessling: TY for all the beam shots and info. I really am leaning towards the PD. Do you know how much it weighs? I appreciate your time in responding.

jayflash: Really sounds like you like your HDS. Might be the ideal light for me especially with the AW optical lens replacement OR...the PD with the SF beamshaper. The HDS, however would maintain the same size. Decisions :)!

My A19 reflector has a great throwing wall of light. I also like my cheap chineese 12LED light with LiON.

DDS ... thanx /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Sorry, I forgot how much it weighs /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif ... and I do not have the equipment to do so properly.
However, it is heavier than it looks because it has a brass piston inside its belly. Apart from that there nothing that adds to the weight.
