Does anyone know where I might beg, borrow, or buy a bezel removal tool for a HexBright Flex flashlight? I want to change the TIR optic, but the bezel ring does not conform to the more or less standard 6P configuration, and my Overready removal tool doesn't fit. (I've searched online without success, including examination of Amazon and eBay offerings ten pages deep into the search results.)

The inside diameter is 24mm. Heres a photo of the bezel. Thanks in advance for any help or guidance.

If you don't want to necessarily go through the issues of finding a specialised tool you could potentially just make one, a piece of a wooden dowel 24(+3mm) in diameter, fit it to the diameter as much as needed, then add something like toothpicks, plastic pieces, any other easy to work with somewhat rigid material to line up with the grooves in the bezel.

If it was me though i'd use some snap ring pliers, put a piece of tape along the bezel not to mar it, then push the pliers against two of the holes and just gently start rotating while maintaining pressure on both. Not ideal, but it's better than nothing.

LRJ88... Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't think about making a custom tool (a sad testament to consumer culture that my first thought was to buy someone else's tool, instead of fabricating my own). I'll see about carving a fitted dowel over the weekend, and report back with the results next week.

On a related note, I already tried pliers, but the tips kept slipping off the indented bits. The bezel ring is tightly fitted, and I was (and remain) reluctant to risk scratching the light or further scratching the optic.
