So I posted some pics a while back of my BH Modulock holster.

Here it is on my S.O.Tech go bag (it is a mono strap pack and I have the holster attached onto the strap in a cross draw fashion)

I just recently got this Tadgear FAST PACK EDC backpack and it has molle on the shoulders. I noticed that some people were using tek-locks for their knives and mounted fixed blades to the shoulder strap.
Well I figured out a great way to use the modulock holster by black hawk. Here I used it upside down. For those not familiar with this holster, it allows standard 1" flashlights, like Gladius and other night ops as well as SF lights to be placed bezel down or up.
So since I have the holster upside down I can have the light in bezel up. Not only is it very ergonomic to keep my light on my shoulder strap, it doubles as a walking/duty/work light. I can leave it in the holster and the upside down holster holds the light in place. it is a firm mounting point and doesnt move.
Please excuse the quick and dirty pics. This is not my usual standard of photography but im better at products than portrait.
Here, if I mount the holster higher up, it angles the light for walking
And here if i mount it lower, it works well as a duty/task light
