Bicycle lighting systems in Dalyan, Turkey

I Recently was in Dalyan, Turkey and thought that I would make some photographs of the lighting system of local bicycles except... there was nothing to photograph. That did not stop the locals and tourists from rolling around in the dark on the sidewalk and roads though:thinking:

Here are some shots of some typical local and rental bicycles, you will get the idea.

I Did not encounter a single bicycle with functioning lights during my stay there :laughing:

National Geographic had a rod brake bike in a picture from Afghaistan a few years back. Looks like the same bike. But they all look alike. With brakes like those you walk the bike downhill, too. Welcome back Pe2er!
