As above please.

Recommendation for cheapish LED flooders for use on Mountain Bikes.

Needs to be rechargable and preferably 25 or 30mm body diameter.

This is for a friend who bought my SF U2 and tried it on his bike and loved the floody wall of light and the range.

Any recommendations (and links) would be great.

However, doesnt want it to be the same spend as the U2 as there are 2 bikes and that is getting expensive.

Many thanks

I'm guessing a light that was designed for bikes will do well; like one of niteriders halogen headlights, or even one of these if money can be spent:

I ride my bike everywhere (car is broken =/), and ive been looking at it for a while.. too bad i can't afford it, but for now Im gonna use a light i got from ksbman in the Christmas gifts thread. (thanks ksbman!)

Also, I had a princetontec EOS, which was decent in terms of output; more than enough to be visible, but its a little risky to use it in pitch black.
