Bike race light

Giday all,

New member here and I like to look of this place already.

I'm looking to build a pair of 12v LED night lights with about 2500lm. As I'm new to this I'm looking for some advice, I am fairly handy with a soldering iorn and have a lathe and mill + other engineering bits and bobs. Are there any "Build yourself" kits, or should I just buy a pair of off the shelf items?
What would be the prefered angle for say a Baja application?
