BitZ Ti

I've got the original BitZ and just noticed the Ti version is now available.

The only change I noticed was the LED. Ti uses SSC P4 U2 / original
uses USXOH bin.

My question : is the U2 the latest/better/brighter than the USXOH ?

I am extremely pleased with my BitZ. Having cancelled my preorder on
a RA Clickey , I don't want to spend the $230 on just a titanium body
upgrade.

Can anyone tell me the difference between these two emmiters ??

Is the U2 version just the latest, or is it better in tint,output,etc.

The U2's are just the most recent SSC P4 bins. Tints and Vf's vary, just like the U bins. Check out PhotonFanatic's sale thread for examples.

I'm realizing the world of cutom/semi-production lights at $200 and
higher needs carefull consideration to qualify as a special toy.

I/ve only bought one(BitZ) custom light and am enjoying scoping out
the next aquisition.

At $235 , I think I'll wait for more seasoned flashaholics to pass on their
reviews.

Hi H2oflyer, I have the Bitz and like it a lot. The U2 LED's are the newest SSC ones out. I have read some reports of people who have upgraded other lights from a recent U bin to the new U2 and did not see a significant increase. I am waiting for the V bins to come out and then may decide to upgrade my Bitz.
