I have several different voltage B&D drills. One of the chargers wall warts went bad and it will no longer charge the batts. Is there any reason I can't just cut the wall wart off the charge cradle and use a triton to power the cradle? I would just as soon use the triton as buy a new charger for it. I'm just not totally sure there is no circuitry in the cradle that I don't know about.

Any thoughts?

Hello Del,

It shouldn't be any problem at all. Just keep in mind the current capability of the wires going to the cradle, or replace them with larger wires.
