Using food / drink brands to impress does happen. I am always amused at people who walk through town with a branded coffee cup held up at shoulder height like it was the the Olympic torch or something.

Marmite - oh yes!

Gentleman's Relish - well explain that one Nyctophiliac!

-Surefire
-Spec-Ops Brand
-Remington
-Benchmade/Case/Spyderco/Buck

I actually have quite a few of these. A lot of them are food, and have been formed over the course of my life, while others are more recent.

Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce
Frank's Hot Sauce
Quaker Oats Quick Oats
Skippy Natural Creamy

New Balance Running Shoes
Levi's 569 Jeans
Duracell Batteries (although I do buy AA/AAA Energizer Lithiums)
