Hi Robyn,

I submitted a request for info on a custom brass light a week or two ago and have not heard back. Any news?

Snow, based on my experience, I urge you to communicate any questions or "custom" stuff inquiries to Peak via telephone. I've found Peak's technical guru, Curt, to be exceptionally helpful in making the right selections from Peak's complex menu.

Good move on jumping on these remaining brass Peaks... at a discount, no less. I've got 'em in Matty, Kili, Baltic, and Pacific versions now and I believe their combination of classy design, durability, and functionality cannot be beat. They just strike me as a cut above the latest techno-whiz-bang boy-toy lights.

I have had a brass Matterhorn in my pocket for years. I really like the thing. Yesterday I got an order in from Peak. It was a brass Pacific with CR2 body and a 10180 body for the Matterhorn. All I can say is WOW. I wrote up a mini review of the 10180 and posted it in the LED forum.

I just got off the phone with Curt. I'm very impressed with the service he provided, and my long awaited AA pocket body brass HP P4 Pacific should be on it's way soon. Thanks for everything.

Yeah I have spoken to Curt in the past, but it is not always possible for me to call during business hours. Email is typically much more convenient.

And, in other news, police in numerous towns around the U.S. are reporting the mysterious theft of... public fire hydrants!

Experts say the reason is the BRASS composition of certain key fire hydrant parts... since the cost of brass and other metals has been skyrocketing due to accelerating international demand.

Hang onto your brass Peak lights, boys!

Got my Pacific today! The window is a little loose, so I'm going to give Peak a call later today. Even with this slight flaw, I'm really psyched about this light! The brass finish is amazing, the threads are very smooth and the overall feel of quality is impressive. I'm going to be picking up more brass Peak lights before they're all gone.

Pacific brass is definitly awesome.. called them up today and ordered some AA brass bodies for it(pocket and keychain). also grabbed some AA HAIII black bodies, as i think they will look great with a brass head. The brass lights
are very reasonably priced..especially with that 25% discount. I've been ordering one light a week in brass from peak. :D definitly addicted......

Woohoo! I remembered to order a rainier with <30 minutes to spare on the discount the other night. :twothumbs

so far.. all in brass.

Which model from Peak is the smallest in overall size with a CR2 body?

We only have the Pacific available with the CR2 body (key chain or pocket). Pocket body being the smallest, my personal favorite is the CR2 Pacific Key Chain, I never leave home without it!

Have a great weekend!
