I have a set of oldish bike lights which use E10/MES threaded bulbs, tip-positive. I've found a few places selling a Luxeon 1 relacement bulb, but I'm afraid the output wouldn't be sufficient. The claim is 50 lumens, but I don't think the Luxeon 1 will do 50 lumens without being overdriven.

The current bulb appears to be a GH44, which I see is a popular hotwire bulb. These were upgrades to the bike light system I got when I purchased the external battery pack, so they run at 6V 10W where the original bulbs are 3V. If running on internal AA's, 3V goes to the bulb. 6V from the external pack.

Anyone know of any drop-in (screw-in..) replacements that are Cree or Seoul?
