Bushnell HD Torch, anybody has?

I like the concept, if for nothing else it's because it's different. I wish there is an AA version though. There is only one review of it on Amazon by a police ride-along.

I think the naming of it "HD" is kinda funny.

Just saw the beamshot and glowing tail clicky in the review link. The beam looks pretty smooth and even somewhat square with sharp blue edge with wat looks like a faint square dark ring and glow around.

Apart from beam being smooth i dont see y anyone would want a light with a square beam over a round one and i would prefer a smoother/softer edge to the beam over the sharp blue 1 especially since it has no spill, although i guess you could easily add a diffuser over it to soften the edge.

Maybe you could use it as a portable projector!

And as to the light up tail button i wonder how much current it would be drawing, although it sounds like a nice feature to have.

They seem to be getting overly excited about a 165Lm flashlight... not fond of that square beam profile either
