I browsed across the forums trying to find it and diddnt. Anyways i promptly ordered one after watching the videos, for my maglite. Anyone else tried one of these? If not ill have to post a review!
I hope this well be useful as i am in the law enforcement business side of town!

I'm 80% certain that if you were to smash a car window like they did with the 'Bust a cap' using a mag-lite, it would smash the window too. They hit the windows using different strategies - the 'Bust a cap' was a perpendicular thrust/penetration, while the mag was a glancing blow, held in a limp wrist (to absorb the blow).

[Edit] - it appears as though they did use the mag similarly to the bust a cap. Oh well.

There are still many other tools I would prefer to use over a flashlight for this purpose.

however if you hit it with the mag the way they did with the mag and cap, i dont think it would break, I have seen in person someone trying to break a window with a mag 3d, it was a poor effect, and the effort was HUGE.

Having had to break a couple car windows with an ASP expandable baton, I can assure you that there is much effort involved. Even when you are pumped up and "swinging for the cheap seats".

I figured the difficulty with the first one just had to be the exception but the second one taught me the rule.:ohgeez: I now carry a spring loaded pen size punch in my uniform shirt pocket.

sorry!

I have a little automatic centerpunch in my center console, but having one a concentrated punch point on a mag light would be handy should you ever have use for it. It's not a gimmick at all, just physics.

Interesting product, thanks for the link! Ever since I've found out about LED drop-ins, I've been looking forward to upgrading my 3D M*G

WHAT NO HAIII!?! man i was thinking of putting that on my 5C HAIII m@g when it comes in the mail later.... aww man

hey fireluvrand ill be waiting for your review  whens it supposed to come in the mail?

Mine arrived yesterday. Looks very nice. Excellent finish, well made. The last 1/4" of the point appears to be made of steel (magetic) and rivited to the aluminum cone in a way that's durable. Should never dull or wear out based on how it's made. Color matches well between the alum and steel.
