Get the VB-16 HA III with a SSC led from DX with EMS, mine had the most gorgeous snow white led you can imagine, not even my customs had such a nice colored led, maybe it was luck of the draw. the UI is very easy to understand, good runtime and can work with 2 123's as backup.

Do not buy VB-16 with EMS! It's black, silver with Q5 or SSC is much better.

I have decided on the vb-16. I read a lot of people saying that its high isn't very bright though. Hopefully it will suffice. Still haven't decided on Q5 or SSC though.

Get Q5, it's better for general/camping usage. And believe me, it is quite bright.
