My wife complains that all of my lights are too heavy. I liked the Energizer ArcWhite for its cold cathode area light (small and bright), but the incandescent part wasn't interesting. While in Walmart the other day, I found a similar Energizer light but with a single lensed LED ($12). Like the rest of the lensed LED lights, this one was pathetic, but with a bit of hacking, managed to crudely fit a Streamlight 4AA's 6-LED module in it. (Acrylite lens, of course.)
It's fairly lightweight with good tent light and decent walking-around-the-campsite beam.
I'd like to see a manufacturer combine a cold cathode fluorescent with a 1W or 5W Luxeon.
