I need help to mod this light with XPG R4/R5 or even SST 50/SST 90 like this mod from ma sha1 in this thread.
Can anyone put an XPG R4/R5 or even SST 50/SST90 in the SunwayLED L10A?

That depends on how well it's sealed against intrusion. Sometimes they loctite everything to help with general sturdiness. If you can get at the LED you could probably replace it, but getting the output pattern right requires some height changing. It currently has an XPE-R2, I believe. I think I'll be able to look at one soon and decide how openable it is.

Unscrew the retaining ring that hold the battery pos. contact first,
then you can pull the positive contact board loose with a plier.
Unscrew the bezel ring & try to tap out the reflector, whihc is lightly held in place with an o-ring.
Once reflector is out, then you can pull the driver/heat sink out from the battery side.
Once you get everything out, you should study it before deciding what to do. Modding with SST may not make sense, you'll see why once you get it apart.
