Can The Fenix L1D CE Run with 2AA body?

Does anybody knows if the 2AA body of the L2D CE is compatible with the L1D?

ACtually if you read all the posts about it, it's probably sample variation.

The head unit of both lights is the same. Twas the same with the older L1T/L2T. Those ones even said L1T/L2T on the head.

THis has been confirmed about 1000 times, but since you asked, I'll confirm it here so you don't have to search the threads.

Those are just individual differences (it's hard to find lights that are EXACTLY the same). Other than that, the L1D and L2D are the same light, except for the alutube, they are designed and produced exactly the same.
