Can the Streamlight M6x be converted to led?

I posted this in the modders sections with no response, so thought I would try here. I have one but with the new technology out there now I would like to get more life and light from it. It is the rail grabber weapon light model with the laser.

It can be done, but with the poly case I'm not sure how good the heatsinking could be.

I don't own one, is the head metal?

No it isn't. But doesn't Surefire's G2 remain poly in the led model as in the first model? I don't know much about all this light stuff other than what I want on my guns. I was just hoping to convert it...
