Can you define the term "Flashaholic Bug"?

Why do we go on a hunger strike in order to save and spend $500 on a light? What is this desire that "outsiders" don't understand until they're bitten themselves? What is this fascination and love specifically on lights? I'm not sure how to describe it myself, but we know why we're here. Please share.

The same questions can be asked of any hobbie or passion. The reasons are varied but can never truely be expressed in words IMO.
