Can you help me spend $500?

Hi everyone:twothumbs So I need some led flashlights to mount on my mountain bike.But my problem is that there's to many flashlights to choose from.I want to put 4 lights on the handle bar.My limit is $500 so I was wondering if you can help out? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you thought of making your own? For $500 you could have a pretty good setup!!

get a battery from Batteryspace or Cutter, and spend the change on some Scolos or a PT Apex or two to modify.

Sorry, my grammar wasn't clear. Since you'll have a fair bit of $$ left over, you can either get a couple of Scolos, or some PT apex lights which you can modify.

I just did some night MTB racing at the 24hr Summer Solstice race with my Nightlightning triple Seoul (similar to the Cutter) on my helmet and my modified Apex on the handlebars. 2 Scolos on the bars would be better still.

I gues the first question is where do you intend to ride.
Personally for something realy nice go for 2 tiny little min-t lights:devil:

as far as i'm concerned min-t cool
if i wanted cheap but very affective i'd go dx mte 2 mode P7 torches with fenix mounts which would have batteries and still be smaller than the clutter lights and with a wider spread
oh yes if you go that way dont forget batts & charger.
