Triple O ring has function to prevent leak of water drops when opening canister on surface ( normaly is always some moisture behind main O ring - so cleaning inside from water drops) I ( friend -turner ) made six lids and two tubes from 1200mm/100mm POM rod for my projects.

This lid is designed for many switch toggle , Hall,...( I have made misteke when ordered bipolar instead of unipolar switch - but whatever toggle is for conservative DIR :poke: ( my friend -buddy))

lighthead is on my scubaboard gallery (like other pics)

BTW :With friend we dove in our lake - water like coffe ( wery hot water - 27°on surface (but lake is under 10m very cold - floded old open coal mine))
and old bulb style H 18W almost could not penetrate water ...but my..... :))) I think that main reason is that mud particles that surround test tube stops light to reach reflector to concentrate beam (big testubelamp design weaknes). My laphead could because of closed reflector (original scubapro) fully takes advantage of reflector and made sharp beam.

very powerful beam HID24W pictures on scubaboard are not very well ,because I made photo in strong rain and from hand on very fast. It should be shorter
Scubapro-scubalux 200HP but balast could not go inside 2cm!!!! ; this lamp could be 6cm shorter but then I lose seal layer! Now is 200HP almost finished for SST90 with my driver .

Very precise machining, excellent work.

Pardon my ignorance but are you saying that the area between the globe and the reflector is flooded when underwater? Is that the meaning of a 'test tube' globe?

Yes. Test tube design is very specific it is simple ,very strong , excellent heat transfer , very light, minimum air volume ;........ for ocean , mexican cenotes and clear water but not for mud water!

Very precise machining
Laser cut (acryl , flanges ) , POM - CNC
