cant remove ring to take out led, help

I tried to unscrew the ring that tighten the circuit board to see what led I have in my flashlight, but it refuse to turn. I think the thread somehow bent and now it refuse to turn. Any suggestions. Any tools I need, I try using a screw driver flat head to poke in one hole and turn it. now it wont go back in or out.

my bad..i don't even know myself. i purchased in on ebay.. but look like a C2. It have nothing written on the flashlight to indicate what model it is. Here is the exact model i purchased..

DAMNIT!! I even try using a plier that somewhat fit the hole and turn it really hard..it won't budge!!!

Try putting the head in a bag an boiling that bag. Then try(with gloves) to open the light again.

The very first time it was able to turn outward then stuck. I stop and turn it back inward to the original position..now it refuse to budge at all...i think the thread is bad.
